Edinburgh Young Greens elect new convenor

Dominic Hinde has been elected Convenor of the Edinburgh Young Greens. He replaces Callum Whiteford, who has stepped down to become Secretary for the next academic year.

Dominic is our representative on the Scottish Green Party Elections and Campaigns Committee, the body that is overseeing and planning all the party’s activities in the run up to May 5th. It is great to have a voice (and ears) on this key committee and judging by the great job he has done, he will undoubtedly make for an able and committed convenor of our busy Edinburgh group.

Both Dominic and the Edinburgh Young Greens will be blogging on this site on a regular basis, so keep an eye out for their insight. If you are interested in getting involved in Edinburgh Young Greens, drop our Edinburgh Co-ordinator Lydia an email at edinburgh@scottishyounggreens.org, or read her excellent introductory blog here.
